I'm not saying that this movie is going to suck, people unfamiliar with the game will dismiss it as a rip off of "Dawn of the Dead."

Crackle is a division of Sony.
Outside of Dead Rising 2, every game in the series is Xbox exclusive.
It's nice of Sony to advertise competing platforms like that ... Laughing

I'd say it probably wouldn't work just on the notion they most likely will take it too seriously and forego all the zany and wacky antics of the characters and series in an attempt to appeal to the Walking Dead crowd who want a very typical and standard zombie story.

A-aren't all of them? Zombie media in general just tends to be a constant mutation of the same thing, with the only major change being making them run like berserkers in things WWZ and 28 Days.

Dead Rising 3 also comes to PC, so this makes the first Dead Rising to be Xbox exclusive, but considering Dead Rising 2 Off the record also stars the protagonist of the first game and it is also available on multiple platforms I will say the Xbox platform has no exclusive Dead Rising materials.
