Assuming the entire book will be in English (pointless otherwise), for an art book, that's not a bad price. Since he's been my artistic idol for the past 10 years, I have no choice but to get this finally. May is just far enough

So will the book have character art & the like, or be purely for the cloud aficionados out there?

I never buy these things, unless they're bundled with whatever I'm buying. But if it's Shinkai's work, I'll make an exception.
When's he making another movie? Every time he makes a commercial I wish it was a movie. |

Nope. No character arts. Just background arts with comments and tutorials & interviews in back page. |

I purchased this book a couple years ago at a convention and its pretty good. The backgrounds have always been the point of admiration with Shinkai so this is a perfect grab for the fans of his work.
