Yes, I just heard about this today. It's unbelievable, first Robin Williams then Lauren Bacall. My goodness, 2 deaths in 2 days.
How can this get any worse???

 It's like awesome actors are cursed or something.
She was my favourite actress and I love the fact that she worked on an anime. |

I hate to say it, but pretty easily. On the other hand, it could also get better pretty easily as well. I had no idea she was in Howl's Moving Castle, that's much more recently than I expected. |

Things came in 3 this week.
First it was Robin Williams, then J. J. Murphy from "Game of Thrones" & now Lauren Becall. |

I feel sorry for Bacall, but at least she lived a long life. R.I.P. From what I recall, she was hand-picked by Miyazaki for the Howl dub, because she was his favorite American actress.

She was truly an icon. What a woman! Those piercing eyes of her's! And what talent! What an icon! Bacall and Bogie were quite a couple. I'm a huge classic movie fan, and she's one of my favorite classic screen beauties. This is a terrible loss to the world. I'm so glad she at least got the opportunity to work on an anime. Howl's was lucky to have her.

Boy,the Grim Reaper must really be busy this week. First,Robin Williams,now Lauren Bacall. What a shame. What a terrible shame.
At least she'll be back with Bogie in the afterlife. Goodbye,Ms. Bacall. You'll be missed.

And so Hollywood loses another legend
She was a great actress that stole pretty much every scene that she was in and the movies that she did with Humphrey Bogart are amongst my all-time favourites. R.I.P.

Such horrible news two days in a row.
Obviously it is bound to happen but so few from the classic era remain. The world just feels a bit more empty. |

Living to be nearly 90 is truly a gift but too bad she didn't live longer.
