Saw Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya at Walmart of all places over the weekend. I'm sure they didn't know exactly what they had, probably thinking it was some cute show for kids. I think some parents are going to be in for a surprise.

Haha, me too! I was like "of all the anime Walmart could choose to stock, they have this one?" You'd think at the very least they'd have some One Piece or Naruto or something. I genuinely wonder why they decided on that particular show, because it's about as obscure and niche as it gets! Plus, that's one of the stupidest and unnecessarily long names of an anime I've ever heard. Along with crap like "I couldn't come up with a catchy title so I gave you a plot synopsis instead." On the other spectrum I also noticed Attack on Titan, and I'm always glad to see that getting front row exposure in mainstream shopping places. The only other anime I ever see there are Ghibli films, but only around their releases and when they run out of the first shipments.

So, the Mayo Chiki manga adaption's last volume has been released. May go and grab all 7 volumes. Heard that it has a conclusive ending, so that's good. No idea if or how much this adaption strays away from the LNs.

I was thinking of getting into Love Live since I heard so many good things about it, but I still don't find the premise that intriguing. Eh, you never know until you try. Also interested in the Fate/Stay release, but I'm still wanting to wait until I read the VN to get anything of the adaptations.

Eh, the premise isn't the most important thing about the show; for most of the show the characters take precedence(just getting the band together takes a while). Easily the worst thing about it is Nozomi's "squeezing"(at least they completely removed it from the second season).

And I ended up selecting the wrong billing address for Paypal, so I've got to go through the fun of getting that sorted out before I get my copy.
