This is old news. We knew this when they announced it.

Judos is goofy fun. But I don't expect it to stick around. Hi-Fi Cluster sounds promising.

No idea what Sporting Salt is going to be. That's a big ass needle.

So far I'm LOVING this Jump Start initiative.

Especially with the line-up so spotty with Hunter X Hunter MIA again.

Any chance Naruto will be done done by chapter 700?

Please god say yes.

By the looks of it Naruto is finally dragging itself to it's grave. Now if only Kubo could let Bleach go before the end of the year...

Judos was dumb as hell but I have no idea how I feel about it. Hi-Fi Clusters is my bet to be the sticker for now, and a much needed replacement for Stealth Symphony in the line up.

I know what you mean. I'll be ecstatic when Naruto ends. Hopefully it's the next series to end in this cancellation round. This month marks exactly 15 years of publication so it would be perfect timing!

I really enjoy what I've read of Judos so far. The comedy works for me and the action is great! Hi-Fi Cluster sounds neat so I'm looking forward to that though I'm not so sure about Sporting Salt. I definitely agree that Jump Start is great! It's nice to see new series.

I'd be freaking ecstatic if Naruto ends on 700; finally frees up that slot.

Not particular fond of Judos' first chapter, but better than what I initially expected. I don't expect it to survive Japan's polls with Hinomaru Zumou covering the muscular men practicing martial sports area. Unless that becomes the next big thing or something.
From the one-shot, Sporting Salt looked to be a sports physiology first, fanservice second story. If done well, the sports physiology's a fresh angle I'd be interested to have in the lineup.
Also looking forward to Hi-Fi Cluster.

And in general, I'm loving the Jump Start initiative as well. Probably about as feasible a taste of the Japanese side of the mag as possible with current resources.

Slow news day so they need to repeat old news to increase their article count.

Confused also how its confirmation considering viz had already said we would get the series, than again, viz did release a Press Release yesterday, odd that they dont post the PR here...

The trouble is, what is there to replace it with? I'd hate for another chunk of the book to go empty.

I'm holding out how hope that last weeks Jojo tease means we might start getting Jojo in the near future. I hear a new arc/era is suppose to start up at some point.

There's also a new series from Hirohiko Araki coming up (not sure if it's the same one) in Jump+ there's also a series from Akira Amano that's scheduled to be in Jump+ there's going to be one more announcment for it next Monday which will probably be another big name. In Weekly Shonen Jump itself I imagine My Hero Academy would do well over here (it seems like it was made with the west in mind and is from the creator of Barrage which was pretty well received over here from my understanding) If Viz changed their mind I'm sure western fans would be happy with Assasination Classroom.

With the slot which was left open by Stealth Symphony I think they were waiting to get this Jump Start!! project off the ground and one of the new titles from this round will most likely fill that empty slot.

The thing about Jump Plus is that none of us really know what the thing is yet. It could be a new online counterpart thing like what Tonari no Young Jump (where the Murata redraw of One-Punch Man is originally published) is to Young Jump. Or it could be some seasonal thing with regular mini content like Jump LIVE, but not for only mobile devices. It could be... I dunno, but they could get creative.

As for filling the space by a presumed nearing end of Naruto... I think most likely would be a success from Jump Start. Below that would be a success that we missed out on but is still pretty recent so that catching up wouldn't be too hard, which could be My Hero Academia. Its latest ranking looks good, so it's got a chance to hang around. And if Naruto ends on 700, we'd be missing maybe 2 volumes worth of that series.
After that, you start running into the issue of a lot of catching up needed for series like Assassination Classroom.

Sadly I don't think Jojolion is due to end anytime soon, despite a rumor abounding recently (gotta keep reminding myself it's monthly now, not weekly, and has been for a while!) however, if they where to do what they did with Seraph and publish weekly until they catch up, that's only 35 (awesome) weeks...
