Hope they all have a blast making the film, entertains a lot of kids + kids at heart and it makes some nice money for Saban & Lionsgate.

Cameos are easy if the production is tight and the script good. The fact that they're planned is good.

Can anyone tell me why people go crazy over the Green Ranger? Seriously man, I went back and watched the old episode and he was incredibly bland. Just a random jock that got turned evil then good again. There was nothing to his character that made him stand out from other kinda characters. I don't get the popularity.

I think it has more to do with the actor than the character. Jason David Frank has been the most involved with the fans of any of the actors involved with MMPR over the years, so the fans like the actor because he'll actually reply to fan letters occasionally, and goes to a lot of the cons, and so forth.

There are definitely a lot of factors. Far as I know, he's pretty much the most active power ranger in the scene today, only other one who I would say is more active is Johnny Young Bosch. He goes to a ton of conventions and is a requested guest by a ton of people.

As a child, the green/white ranger was super popular among us kids as well (he had like 5 episodes devoted to his evil arc, which was huge for the show back then), and I am sure a lot of that carried over now that we're adults.

And, from what I recall, he's aired the most out of any power ranger in the entire franchise.

Jason's actor, Austin St John, went into EMT and firefighting while Kimberly's actress went into acting. She had a huge role on Flashpoint for several years.

Bosch became The Bosch. I don't know what happened to Billy's but I do know what happened to Trini's. (RIP Crying or Very sad )

And he'd be at this weekend's NY Comic Con with a panel and doing autographs all 4 days.

Why does the article read 'Tommy Frank'?

This is neither the actors name or the character he played. Those would be Jason David Frank and Tommy Oliver, respectively.

This only serves to confuse readers.

It was the hair Smile

David Cranston, Billy's actor, went into producing. And he still does conventions as well, I recently saw him, Austin St. John, and Walter Jones (Zach) at Montreal Comic Con.

Hm... I don't rememebr much about the show right now, but I never really cared about Green Ranger back then, but after he became the White Ranger, he quickly rose to be my favorite character. Something like that.

Always gets people revved up:

And going up and down the autograph line while people sang the Power Rangers theme song:
