I'm still hoping Kaneki will make an appearance. Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

There's a lot of evidence pointing to the theory that the main character is in fact Kaneki.

No the new lead is the guy talking to the girl. Haise Sasaki, but as said before once you've read the chapter it's starts pointing towards the fact it's Kaneki.

For those who haven't read the chapter...basically the 'new' main character is called Sasaki Haise - he has black hair with white ends and is part of a unit of the CCG which use ghoul abilities to hunt ghouls (unlike the normal inspectors who use ghoul materials to make weapons).
already sounding suspicious? There's a lot more hints that Haise is Kaneki but you'll have to go and look them up. |

So because of what happened to Kaneki (I'm sure most of you should know by now).
He could have suffered some brain damage BUT eventually started to heal himself. There could be many reasons for him to take on a new persona. 1: he could have picked up the name after memory loss because of the damage done to his brain. 2: he figures that if he continues to be Kaneki, he will keep putting the ones he love in danger. 3: Maybe he wants to get inside the CCG to figure out more about the doctor (forgot his name) and what not. Also the new character kinda looks a lot like Kaneki, so he might as well be. either way can't wait for this |

Wow. Your not even trying to hide your sexism are you? As for TG, I'll probably start reading it once i've caught up on Claymore. But it looks like a pretty fun series. |

I have no idea whats going on... So when they say the article title Manga changes main character, it means it switched to the investigation squad opposed to the Ghouls. Not so much a change to the previous book main character.
