I already knew this would be a success with how popular Yuumei is. But, wow, they raised so much it's still unbelievable. Good for them.

Got five pair of Audio-Technica cans I love, but I'd buy a set of these at that price, assuming the audio is half decent out of them. They're always rubbing me the right way:
A. Swappable cabling B Over-ear (though the 40mm drivers are a little small for over ears for my taste) C. Appears to be DJ style and the cups look like they are omni-directional Of course, anyone audiophile will tell ya, you can pay $300+ for a set of headphones what sound like crap *caught, Bose, Beats looking your way. Only wish Shure, Sennheiser, or Grado would put a fraction in to advertising and marketing that Beats does. But, I digress, I'd buy a set of these just for cons. |

Someone on my twitter feed linked to the Indiegogo of this the other day. I WANT THEM SO!
....But I am too poor. That said, good gods they are so adorable and cool looking. If I was a person with more money I would snap them up in an instant <3. |

Despite already owning four headphones, I ordered it in a heartbeat.
I'm weak. |

I fail to see the point of external speakers for headphones, unless those are just faux speakers just for looks. It's annoying enough when some daft deft young person has their music so loud in their earbuds one can hear it over the clatter of train wheels on tracks. To have an ability to become a walking DJ would fall into the bounds of anti-social behavior IMO.
"headphones". Been in existance since the dawn of radio over 100 years ago. I got a pair that I bought with my Pioneer component stereo system back in '76. Still pumps out the tunes in beatiful Hi-Fi. I also have two pairs of Sennheiser's that aren't that great, but then I got them from work, a part of my tool kit, so I can't complain too much. For that much money one could get a pair of those neco-mimi's that respond to your moods. |

I could see having private headphones OR wearable external cat-ear speakers, but... |
