Does this mean that the SNAFU LNs are done? It'd be cool if the 2nd season completes the series.

Actually the novels are still ongoing.

But in the novel world is not strange to see authors and illustrators do 2 or more series at the same time. The only downfall in all this is that it will take longer to put out another volume after another.
