Anime adaptation coming for sure now.

In the past any Domain name registered usually becomes an anime adaptation. Should be interesting to know soon next month.

I hope this focus on giving older anime a fair chance at a full series leads to Bastard!! and Weathering Continent receiving real attempts. Or it could just be a Yoshiki Tanaka thing that corresponds to the new LoGH.

Well, I am glad that they are re-adapting this work, but unfortunately
Hiromu Arakawa's designs suck. This is still better than nothing though.

A lot of cool old properties seems to be getting adaptations nowadays, as long producers can promote it and make of it I wouldn't rule anything out.

Arakawa designs look fine for Arakawa series, but some of us haven't forgotten the old OVA/short movie series, which looked so amazing. I'd rather see a continuation of that than start over with such different designs. But the story's still where it'll stand or fall. This could improve on the OVA in that regard, since I'm sure a lot got left out with such short running times.

The novels series is still alive, btw; there's a new book every couple of years, currently up to 14.

Yup, I'll enjoy the resurgence in fandom, but I'm going to stay far away from the actual new adaptation. I want to picture the characters with the OVA designs, which were absolutely gorgeous. Arakawa's art style is so different and my mind associates it with FMA.

Japan has been going thru their own nostalgia kick.
