While it's supposed to be out next week, Best Buy went ahead and jumped the gun with GITS Arise. You can get it right now at both physical retailers and their online store:

Helps that it's also only $22 there.

Yeah, same. It doesn't come out next week anyway, so not actually sure what he's talking about. It is supposed to release the second week of December.

Oh, Sankrea volume 9 is out! Only 2 volumes left! Volumes 7 and 8 both ended on cliffhangers, so it's really feeling like we're getting to the business end of this one.

(Even though it's not a chipboard box, it's still a really nice looking set! The case is a really neat metallic-matte and the logo is shiny though you can't see it in the pic. Each OVA comes in its own amaray case.)

Guess I just got lucky? Laughing

That said, they really did have it up for purchase this morning, and my local store is fully stocked. Guess we can write that off as a now-fixed mistake.


However...December? That BB page still has it slated for next week.
