Well, they said this will be like a Naruto movie like none other before so I'm kinda curious to see what will happen. I actually kinda like that theme song in the PV.

I actually am interested to see how this movie turns out. Since next week is THE LAST ISSUE OF NARUTO!!! But if this is basically a continuation of the manga ending, I do want to see what happens. Looks like Naruto will never get to be Hokage though. What a shame

Basically the whole goal of the manga is thrown out for pointless and jarring shipping. What a bloody shame.

What do you mean by that? The manga wont have any shipping at the end, that's why we're getting this movie. Man it sounds like you just want to hate just to hate, because what you're saying does not make any sense.

Naruto is only a 17 year old kid in this movie and honestly does not have what it takes yet to be a leader. Despite Gaara being the kazekage at a young age he is far more mature in politics that naruto is now. As far as ship-bait goes, I saw this coming from a mile away when neji was killed.
Don't forget kishimoto could always pull a Naruto Z later down that takes place 10 years later after this movie and be about his kid. Regardless I'm excited to see this movie and for the series to finally wrap up after 700 chapters.

Unless the 2nd of next week's chapters is set more than 2 years in the future of course

I'm convinced that a lot of the imagery in this trailer is a fake out of some kind. The Naruto/Hinata stuff, Kakashi as Hokage... I don't buy it.

fudge YES! IT'S FINALLY GOING TO HAPPEN! I HAVE NEVER CARED MORE ABOUT AN ANIME PAIRING THAN I CARE ABOUT HIS ONE! YES! Seriously! The moment this movie comes out. I might just drop dead. Because I will never be that happy again. I am full aware how pathetic that sounds and I swear on my life I'm not this bad about other series but....I SPENT 15 YEARS...INVESTING IN HINATA...I [expletive] DESERVE THIS lol. If they somehow manage to fudge us over here with the NaruHina ending...Just that better not happen. Somebody's gonna get shanked. Simple as that. I have no idea who or whether it will even be just one person. But somebody will get hurt by me lol. In case it wasn't obvious by now. I'm pretty damn excited.

Does he really need to though? The whole reason he even wanted to become one was to be respected by the village,and well,he's already got that.He's pretty much hokage in very way except in name.
Anyways,i haven really liked this series for quite some time,but at least i will acknowledge i did enjoy it once upon a time. However i will give it the decency to finish reading it,and watching movie til the end.
