For those who have read ch. 700 (like me), it was most likely a fake since the 700th ch. is scheduled to be released Nov. 10. If it was released that early, I think the Japanese site would mention that.

It releases in Japan on the 10th, yes, but scanlators usually get leaked versions of the releases much earlier, which is why manga usually comes out on Wednesdays and Thursdays. |

Ahaha, people may wish it to be fake but it's most likely not. Everything points to that ending. It seems real enough to me. People will keep making excuses though because some don't like the pairings. |

It's not fake. Japanese people posted leaks, the raws were leaked to a Chinese community, and another set of raws were leaked to me and a few other people privately... and the characters' children match the designs leaked for the film (the children will show up in the film, along with the adult versions of the characters--I'm guessing in another epilogue of sorts). They're all 100% consistent. =P
I really did wonder why so many people thought Naruto would end up with Sakura. It frankly made no sense after all of the moments that were put in the manga to basically end that relationship between the two. That said, I'm disappointed that so much transition was left out between the ending of the story and the epilogue. Small obvious hints that he would end up with Hinata were hidden throughout the manga, but after the big show Hinata put on confessing to him, I would've absolutely loved to have seen the moment he actually accepted and returned her love... |

Man, Kishimoto screwed you over for screen time, didn't he? In fact, the Hyuuga clan as a whole got kinda boned.
Or at the very least have a panel with her and the whole family as opposed to just his son. |

The movie will have to be a love story on the level of Titanic to justify an out of nowhere relationship as implied in the last chapter.

Weekly Shonen Jump is leaked early every week since forever and will continue to be. Hell, take notice of the fact when ANN reports on news from WSJ, they always phrase it "The Nth issue of Weekly Shonen Jump is announcing on Monday..." They write it that way because they're reporting leaks. A small part of me would kind of like to see that final chapter revealed as a fake, though, just for the inevitable shitstorm. |

Not sure what you're referring to. The only relationship that came truly out of nowhere was Chouji's. spoiler[Naruto and Hinata, Sasuke and Sakura, and Shikimaru with Temari were the most obvious pairings in the world. Sai and Ino is a little less obvious, but she took interest in him from the start, especially after he called her beautiful (not really meaning it of course). I'm sure she didn't let him forget that after the war. Chouji and Kamui came completely out of left field.] Dunno that any of the relationships actually need justification, none of them are unbelievable. Emerje |

Nonaka Machine Gun B, I meant that the ch. 700 currently on scanlation sites could be fake and that the Japanese sites probably would mention something to confirm/deny that.
Juno016, it could be legit and it could be fake since there are fan artists that can make fan chapters look legit. |
