I'm guessing that's Tohka. Not sure what to think of this yet until a full PV is out. Also kinda curious to see how far they will adapt this.

As far as that picture is concerned, I think that's probably Kaneki's old self (pre ghoul, or at least pre-white haired ghoul), making it metaphorical.

Ooh, I like that visual! Kaneki looks awesome.
 And I'm curious about the identity of the body he's carrying. My first thought was that it was himself.
The title is a little strange but they might have decided to call it something other than Tokyo Ghoul 2 since it's going to be different to the manga. |

I like the idea of that body being of his old self like others have said. I really hope they don't change a lot of the story because I like how it went.

Isn't it known that the manga author himself is writing the second season?
So all changes are from the author himself. I'll be sad if they won't adapt any of the rest of the manga because it's pretty great, but at the same time I'm curious what the original story might be end up being like because the author is a great writer. |

it probably will. The first season was shit anyway, i don't get why some people are even looking forward to the second season when they basically ruined and rushed the first season... Not to forget the awful censoring. |

From what I heard, which is pure speculation, √A means "Square root of A[ogiri]" which simplifies to Aogiri Root. The speculation says it would probably cover something with the Ghoul organization, Aogiri Tree, that was introduced in the last arc of the first season.

Can't decide if that title's better or worse than "Tokyo Ghoul 2; Ghoul Harder". I have mixed feelings about the first season, but it was good enough to make me curious about the second season (and the manga. Is it licensed yet?)
