Ehh...some of these actor choices plus the additional new characters have me on the "meh" side.

Damn that is impressive. Didn't know the colossal titan was bigger than "Big-G". I look forward to see this live action film despite whatever shortcomings it will contain. Just enjoy it.

*reading the article's title*
Confirmed!!! Godzilla's next monster battle will be against this Titan. After seeing Marvel and Attack on Titan team up, I would love to see a Godzilla vs Titan (for my amusement). But as I mention on another thread talking about the live-action Attack on Titan, I have no confidence if this film will look good or not. I'm not even sure if this will be shown in the US. Guess I have to wait and see. |

In terms of the impact on monster movies, I'd say the BIg G is still bigger. |

Hmm...so much for the mixed world of attack on titan. |

So much keeping some of the essence of the story. |

Yeah pretty much all that. You know this is the only time I wish Hollywood (with a German film production backing this) would be the one doing the live-action adaptation, and not Japan. |

I don't think this is going to be very good...I'm sensing some Dragonball-esque seismic activity on the horizon. It starts small, but that massive titan could backslide down one hell of a hill pretty fast. Too many fingers in the pot, maybe unrealistic expectations, or monolith-sized marketing ploys. Whatever you want to call it. We'll see. We shall see.

Would you be more worried if Hollywood was doing a live action version? |

If it's Hollywood doing this, I wouldn't be worried a lot (unless they screw up the plot). I'm worried because Japanese CGI is not good unlike their other Asian neighbor counterpart. Also the character who are Europeans in the manga and anime are now Asian/Japanese in the live-action so yeah this should be a big concern. |
