Looks good. I heard it was a sort of "revisiting" of old school RE type of fare. I plan on getting this next year as one of my games when I grab my PS4 (hopefully a future bundle with MGS5.)

That being said I heard it was 'okay' and didn't live up to the promise of "what you loved about RE" but it's in cases like this where the first game comes out good and the second game in the series polishes it to perfection. (Uncharted to Uncharted 2 for an example)

Now I doubt the sequel will make THAT kind of leap like Uncharted did, but I'm willing to go all in to see it first hand.

"The Evil Within" is basically one of those shlocky, cheesy, gory survival horror titles of yesteryear that were all over the Dreamcast, but with good production values. I enjoyed it for its sheer ridiculous incongruousness, and in fact, enjoyed it for how fundamentally bad some of the design decisions were.

Basically, it could be considered a "bad game" but in the best way possible. One of the more memorable titles in a year of mundane AAA releases, outside of Nintendo's excellent offerings.

Sheesh, the $60 price tag alone makes it limiting and that's why a lot of people may favor DLC.

Yeah, I heard about this few days ago and I wasn't surprised The Evil Within made it on the list.

This game was 25 bucks over Black Friday at best buy and then 25 on amazon the following week.

Just started playing it, its not bad, but the story is a little weak, then again the last decent horror in terms of story was probably Alan Wake.
