Much sadness!
One can only assume some sort of unwitting fictional scenario struck too close to home with some current event, and just as well there may have been a game crashing bug found at the last minute.

Honestly, I don't really care. I don't like sequels of VNs that have a fulfilling True End, it feels like it diminishes the struggles of the original if not everything was solved. If they want to do spin-offs, I'd rather they do them in other timelines or not at all.

It wasn't supposed to be a 'visual' novel(game), it was supposed to be a 'real' novel(light novel). So unless grammar bugs count, there wouldn't have been any...

I would have likes to have read this. It's a shame it's now cancelled. Maybe it will show up in one form or another in the future.

Well, this is devastating. The concept sounded pretty good and I was looking forward to seeing the characters again.

Was this supposed to be an actually book made out of paper or one of those not-really-video-games?

I completely agree. I find it strange that Steins;Gate seems perfect for alternate-universe spin-offs, and yet they keep doing sequels that diminish the finality and open-endedness of the True End. I didn't like the movie for it, and it sounds like this novel would have been the same. Same with constantly bringing Suzuha back! The visual novel wrapped literally everything up perfectly. Leave them alone now!

I'll give ya 1 point for making reference to the Interview and how North Korea responded. Laughing
