To be fair, we've known for a while (animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-09-28/your-lie-in-april-manga-spring-finale-anime-3rd-trailer-unveiled/.79296) that the manga was going to end in early 2015 and the anime would adapt it in full, but I guess it's nice to have an exact date now.

If the manga & anime both end in April, I'm gonna freak out, because of the timing going along with the title of the anime.

probably ran out of imaginary illnesses to make up. Also they still might not adapt it to the manga fully...that might conflict with manga sales if they make it exactly the same

I always figured this work would continue past his childhood and go into him becoming an aspiring pianist, I mean they showed all of those rivals that want to challenge him and their woudl be others. But it looks like they will probably end it with either the death or miracle recovery of the heroine.

I don't know it seems kind of a wasted potential, and its feel like the manga was only a single arc rather than a full work.

Funniest thing I read on the site all day LOL, also very true. I know I will just pop in the last episode and chapter to see if she makes it or not.

Was that a made-up synopsis you thought up, or you really should have used a Spoiler BBCode here?

The anime potentially adapting the whole story sounds nice. But, I always get this melodramatic feeling while watching the anime. That's not to say that there has been any yet (I've only seen 1-5, series on the back burner ATM), but I've felt like some is coming.

Also, that spoiler by CrownKlown kind of fills me with dread...melodrama on the way...? Laughing

I wonder if it's possible to animate everything within the remaining second half of the episodes. I'm looking forward to see if they will cut some part out? Or will they actually extend it another cour? (seems unlikely), or make it an anime original ending (seems unlikely, but we'll have to see)

I think I've read up to the latest chapter of this manga, and feel like there is a lot of stuff to animate.

The first half of the anime covered the first 20 chapters, so I can see the second half picking up the pace a little bit to cover the the remaining 24 chapters.
