Congrats to her. On the topic of Mizuki, do you think she's more known for playing Hinata or more noted for her music career or is it both?

Nana Mizuki is mostly about the music. Fate is her most popular role.

She's not just known for playing Hinata, and it's not actually even one of her most famous roles. She's become more famous recently for her role in Precure, but she's been playing other big roles since forever ago (although my favorite role of hers is Cisqua). As of recent times, Mizuki has been focusing more on her music career.

Kalafina will also be having their first solo Budokan concerts on 28 February and 1 March 2015 (they have previously performed at Budokan as part of Lisani Live concerts):

Wow, the Yakushimaru Etsuko part caught me off guard, could it be that Hanazawa is a fan of her? Yakushimaru has a lot of cool songs
but anime fans might only know her songs in Arakawa and Penguindrum

Well congrats to her for this honor to perform at the Budokan. It's a big deal to perform at that arena (well that and Tokyo Dome).

Wow, KanaHana performing on the same stage as The Beatles. That'd be amazing to watch live.

I actually like Hanazawa's music more than her anime roles. Her singing voice is really soothing and sweet but you can't really hear that in the roles she usually gets typecasted in.

Hanazawa's MyAnimeList favorites I believe is currently behind only Mamoru Miyano in terms of being the most favored seiyuu. That is, she's currently at 20,166 while Miyano is at 21,424. The female seiyuu that used to be at the #1 spot was Rie Kugimiya but she is now 1241 faves less than Hanazawa.

Because Hanazawa shares the same dub actress for Deadman's Wonderland, Cat Planet Cuties, & Aesthetica, I wonder if the Japanese decided to decide to have Monica Rial be Hanazawa's counterpart or if it's just coincidental from auditioning/getting cast.
