So this got cut and Strike Witches did not? Or did any of the Monogatari series?

I really do not get how the BBFC classifies these things.

Or High School DxD. how on earth did something like that get through unscathed but this doesn't? The BBFC is idiotic and inconsistent.

Very disappointed to hear this, was planning on buying it as well, oh well I'll just have to import Sentai's release now.

What's the scene? I don't remember anything much though it's been a while.

If it's been cut for the reason I think it has then that might be illegal.

It all comes down to context.

Also Strike Witches nudity (what little there was) wasn't sexual in natural. Hence context. DxD is a comedy which probably helps. Either that or I'm reading the manga wrong, Laughing

Also the Code Gaess cuts only applied to the beez release. The Kaze/Manga ones are uncut.

BBFC rarely cut things now. It has to be bad or porn to not get slapped with an 18. Any edits to Hollywood movies now are done by the studios to get that magic 12A rating. But that is another rant for another time.

Well though i can't say im familiar with the series it's self so i am not to sure on what this cut is and if it will impact the release in anyway all i can say is if i was a fan of the series, i would be importing it from Sentai or whoever owns it in the US.

As said if whatever it is doesn't bother the series i wont shout up a storm (though i still will argue modifying original content) but honestly they should know most will just import it, essentially all it does is damage local economy which all i can say is they bring it to themselves.

Re IanC's point about Code Geass, I can't see any mention on the BBFC site that it 'took back' the cut on Code Geass R2 when it was reissued by Manga. But maybe they forgot to mention it...

Just a little PSA for anyone thinking of importing this title you might just be breaking the law by doing that it's part of the reason why they cut it.
