Oh snap! Bleach being in a top 2 spot is "nostalgic."

Good for Gintama, and it's also great to see that Boku no Hero Academia is not falling behind. I have high hopes for that one.

As far as WSJ series that started between 2008 and now (because the source I'm using starts at 2008), Boku no Hero Academia has the 3rd best sales among the first weeks for vol 2's.
Bakuman vol 2 hit 228k after 5 days, Assassination Classroom vol 2 hit 200k after 3 days.
Right behind BnHA would be Shokugeki no Souma vol 2 hit 134k after 6 days.
In other words, BnHA vol 2 getting to 167k after 7 days is pretty good. I'm looking forward to see how high it gets before it hits its natural plateau (ie how high it gets before some external stimulus like an anime adaptation happens; seems to typically be in the vol 4/vol 5 area for recent WSJ series).
In fact, considering that WSJ manga sales typically do not just randomly crater (or noticably decline, really) in their first couple of years*, BnHA should be able to hang around for at least the next 2 years, even assuming zero growth. And if you can survive in WSJ for a couple of years, odds are good that you'll get an anime. So, I'm penciling in an anime announcement for this series in roughly 1.5 years. And it's in graphite, cause sure, there's always that chance of illness, freak injury, or getting arrested.

*it does seem rather difficult to lose someone who already has been turned into a fan, especially in the first few years before the feeling of 'it's getting too dragged out' surfaces, no?

Blue Exorcist has been a great success! There should be a remake of the anime series! Jus like they did with Full Metal Alchemist...

I'm glad that Blue exorcist, bleach and one piece made the top there but I am surprised that death note is not on this list and why is black butler so low the rankings

AoEx outselling BLEACH... wow. Just bought the latest volume the other day and Izumo is starting to be a bit more likeable. This is a good arc.

Death Note ended years ago and this is the 3rd week that Kuroshitsuji is on the list. Its highest rank was #2 like it says on the list.

Things that make me happy:
- Blue Spring Ride topping 780k...license and/or 2nd anime season when?
- So Cute It Hurts topping 140k, would be nice to see it make 150k
- Working's last volume has beaten 12's sales by 13k (comparing it to the last time 12 made the list)

It could be because this is the volume in which spoiler[Law's (and Corazon and Doflamingo's) flashback begins.] ^^'
