So, this time my watching of Nodame Cantabile has been put off...due to North Korea. Not like I had a hard time putting off checking out a series I've been told to watch by others. Laughing

I thought this bullshit was all over when The Interview came out. I hope this isn't delayed too long.

Moral of the story? Don't eff with hackers.

You see? If you don't publish Nodame, then the terrorists will have won! And that's just un-American!

At least Aussie's are getting a release of Nodame which they should be thankful for because US fans would be jealous.

Provided the North Koreans did not delete the Animax dub.

Weird how they have the license to stream it (the first one, anyway) on Crackle for us, but they can't absolutely go any further?

I've heard it has no chance of coming over here, but I just find it strange that it could even be streamed at all.

I think the issue of a North American release had as much to do with music rights as with the video portion. I doubt contracts written in 2006-2007 with the music guilds had any provisions about rights to streaming, so they may not have leverage over streams the way they do over physical releases.
