Eh, they look okay I guess. Somewhat hyped for the second half of this especially after the latest episode's cliffhangerish ending.

So... Emeraude's principal characteristics are that she's a woman and has feelings for Demande. I'm sure that she'll be very interesting and compelling.

The character designs look great!
And I had actually guessed Miyano would play Saphir. To imagine he would play the brother! Yonaga... Doesn't really fit... (I had guessed Takahiro Sakurai for Demande). But Miyano! This show does deserve you! Legendary seiyuu gather one by one to entertain a lot of people who actually do like this show. As one of those people, I am very happy. |

I remember one of the really early announcements for this project said that Toru Furuya would be auditioning for a role
Since he didn't reprise his role as Tuxedo Mask, I thought it would be funny if he got cast as Prince Demande. Guess that didn't happen either. Oh well. (does anyone else remember that announcement was made?) |

It's just a one line description by the website. It's not anything to worry about. All it's doing is introducing the character in a quick blurb for the seiyuu and character design announcement. It's not a diary of her life. And uh... Which series are we talking about? As I remember, Esmeraude didn't do a ton in the original manga. |

Also remember Esmeralda's main thing was liking Diamond and nothing much else in the 90s anime, so what's the problem?
 Designs look good for the most part, but Diamond looks more femininine than the rest. Since its following the manga, I don't expect too much of a lustful Diamond except for a few here and there.. But totally worth it if they put it in for me.

Remember when she popped up for like 5 seconds in the manga and that was it? Good times....although she doesn't have it as bad as the Ayakashi Sisters.
I will miss her original anime characterization...sweet tooth and all. Curious to see if Houko can pull off the infamous noblewoman's laugh. |

This reads like they're all women, but she's the only one with feelings for him. I think it needs a comma after "four". |

I don't think Miyano Mamoru is exactly fitting. But then again, who can compete to Oberstein's Shiozawa Kaneto, who voiced Dimande in the original series. Him being voiced by Oberstein's VA was the only good part about his character. Now he won't even have that.
