Looking forward to hearing this one, as Nobunagun was one of my favorite series of 2014. Jad Saxton is an interesting choice for Sio, as hers was a decidedly deeper-pitched voice in Japanese and Jad normally does younger-sounding, higher-pitched roles.

High pitched Saxton like Akatsuki from Log Horizon or Sena from Haganai? Her Sio really does remind me of Sena, with a lot less attitude.

Kent Williams sounds fantastic, Liebrecht is using an accent. Of some sort. What the hell is that, New Zealand? Liverpool by way of Australia? The guy's usually good so maybe it's just that one line.

From the YT vids that I've seen of Jad, high-pitched isn't her natural voice.

Went back and listened to the clip and - wow, I dunno about this. Jad as Sio will take some getting used to and Kent is okay I guess at Nobunaga, although he is trying to replace a fantastic original performance and is hampered by a rewording to the line in this scene which doesn't do him any favors. (The original wording was so memorable.)

On the plus sign, Jason sounds fine as Jack and Caitlin (whom we don't hear here) should be a very good fit for Newton. I am curious to see who they will get for Galileo, though; Jamie Marchi, maybe?

Bevins posted the supporting cast on twitter. Alexis Tipton is Galileo

Great was looking forward to buying this show in May but now it's delayed not too surprising Funimation. They are really working my last nerve first Eva 3.33, then Ben-to, now this show.

Loved what I had time to watch of this so I'm really looking forward to seeing this dubbed as I never got around to finish it either.

To be fair, the article mentioning that it's coming soon could mean that it might be released before it's original May release date.

However, I can understand with the other titles delayed indefinitely. With Eva 3.3 being delayed over a year, I wonder how many more excuses Funi has. Similarly, I'm still waiting for that Cyborg 009 movie to get a dubbed release here.

I've heard Jad's natural voice too and it's not high at all. The high voice we are accustomed to hearing from her is decidedly a "learned" voice. The fact she makes the high voice so convincing that we think it's her real voice is a testament to her talent.

I'd say the Japanese company deciding it wanted to be very hands-on with Evangelion is pretty good excuse. There isn't much they can do to speed it along at this point.

Hopefully the dub won't be to edited to death that it's not watchable.

I darn well better not change the intro song, that one best parts of this anime!!

Unless it's a kid's show like Pokemon, Digimon, or Doraemon (that's a lotta -mons!), dubs these days are very rarely edited that drastically. The days of 4kids are well and truly over.

Didn't you watch the trailer? They play the song in the background. Confused
