Detective Conan: Gōka no Himawari (Detective Conan: The Hellfire Sunflowers)

The English translated title according to the movie's official website is "Sunflowers of Inferno".

Once a day they'll poison a random dish and ask the customers to solve the case.

It's a really good long running series, but I really wish they would stop dragging it out. All those episodes and I feel like the main plot is going nowhere.

I'm not sure it was really intended to go anywhere. The premise seems mostly like an excuse to have the episodic adventures, and the main story is just a thing that sometimes ties things together. If you're hoping for resolution, you're playing a sucker's game.

That said, I do find Detective Conan to be somewhat entertaining, especially the part where children are exposed to grizzly murders.

Well, after so many episodes it starts to get repetitive. Ai's character was a good idea, but the other three kids are annoying as hell. Just getting that out there. I also like the romance aspect of it, but in the end the romance goes nowhere either. I understand that long running series depend on things like this, which is why I usually don't watch long running series. It gets boring after a while. Detective Conan was pretty good for keeping me entertained about 200 episodes.

Oh, I always skip the episodes that focus on the real children. They're fine in small doses, but whenever they're highlighted, it's annoying.

Those three are always getting into trouble and causing problems for others. I always ship Conan x Ai, but those three get in the way sometimes...

Some how I've got a feeling they're kinda scared to end the series because one ending they go for might cause a civil war within the fandom.
