NEVER! POKEMON IS GOD! HARHARHARHARHAR!

Actually, I don't know. I kinda like having a lot of Pokemon on TV. It makes good I'm-not-quite-awake-but-here-I-am-watching-TV TV. Did I mention it makes kids shut up? :D

Not quite sure where they are getting the ideas...of course it's really basic I suppose.

And yes it shuts kids up very quickly Lucca, it's one good point I think.

Well, let's see... For every new season, they create more out-of-this-world (not in a good way) little monsters, give them funky powers, and follow the same story script of battling, problems, etc. You think, though, that Ash would grow up by now. I always saw the show as fundamentally flawed. I mean, you never see any regular animals. Do they eat the pokemon? Or are they all vegetarians?

As long as Nintendo keeps things looking new and people keep having kids Pokemon will remain popular.

They infact do eat Pokemon, they just don't make a big deal out of it. Farfetch'd was described on the show as a delecasy, Tauros are raised as cattle, and I remember Ash fearing that Prof. Oak would eat his krabby (or Kingler or whatever).

While the uber phenomenon is long over, the show still rates well and the games are still extremey good sellers on the GBA.

So yeah, in that respect Pokemon is still popular.

Don't forget that while the original kids who used to watch 'Pokemon' have all grown up, there's always a new generation to sell Pokemon toys to. That is why the characters on the shows like Pokemon never age.
