I don't think that this is necessarily the case. Sekai Project works with multiple translation teams - such as with the Grisaia trilogy, CLANNAD and Was: The Hourglass of Lepidoptera. I think that this is more of a specific, "local" (if you will) problem due to having to both translate the 2nd episode, as well as modifying the engine to support higher resolutions.
The first installment in the series, A.K.A. the first episode, was indeed released to the public. Is there any reason for the quotation marks? Just wondering... |

7 out of 11 chapters, and 6 of them edited... that means we probably won't see it for a while. Sad, but as Hameyadea said, it's probably because of other issues instead of just taking up too many projects, as they probably have a team dedicated to translate this game.
As someone who really enjoyed the first chapter, I'll wait for the 2nd as long as I need to. |

At least they are giving notice because sometimes companies might not do this.
