I guess we'll have to find out if dead-ender Daisuki gets this or if Crunchyroll was able to snag yet another sweet Trigger series.

Good overseas regional availability regardless.

Wow. Those characters design looks crazy. With animation being done by Trigger, this is going to be a Kill la Kill styled action series.

Really loving art for it so far. Hoping Funi picks up the streaming rights for it.

I hope, if possible, they self publish this on their website, like they did with Little Witch Academia. I don't want to have to buy a 3 part collection with no extras like I did with Kill La Kill.

It looks like Starchild Records could be the licensor rather than Aniplex so the chance of Funimation picking it up is there(then again, Sentai also picks up quite a few Starchild titles too).

Despite the looks and staff news, I'm still ambivalent about it. It sounds like something out of a wannabe anime fanfic (at least the names arent' overly-cute) and Ninja Slayer himself looks a mild knock-off of Ryu Hayabusa.

Yes, that's the point. It's a parody of the American conception of Japan, hence the pretense that the authors are translating an American novel.

CR is more likely to pick it up.

Well, that sounds better. It was hard telling if that was a literal pretense or one for parody (I always went for the former, since that what it came off as when it was initially announced). We'll see in the end…

One can only hope. Hopefully with a tad more of a budget though.

I'm on the Crunchyroll bandwagon as well. Funi's site has improved greatly, but I'd rather not see a home video release of this by them.

I'll be crossing my fingers for whether or not it'll be as gloriously bonkers as I think it'll be...

Nice. I hope this is a worthy follow up to KLK. Looking forward to this, too.
