The actual world premier is in Japan on 30 March. This is merely an English subtitle premier, if a premier at all.

FUNimation Entertainment announced on Sunday that it has licensed the film Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' (Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F)

So that's the official English title? I thought it would be F's Resurrection or something similar, not Resurrection 'F'.

Even though the dub has just been confirmed and I waited patiently for Battle of Gods, I think I'll watch this in Japanese at least once for MomoClo

Yes, it's in FUNi's official announcement.

I sure can't wait for people to bitch it isn't their precious Funimation English dub cast.

They'll get to it eventually, Resurrection of FFS. It takes time and I'm sure it'll be just as good as BoG's dub was (and it was quite good).

Meanwhile, bask in the talents of Masako Nozawa, Ryo Horikawa, and Toshio Furukawa.

Is it any similar to how you were whining about Funi not screnning the Japanese version of Battle of the Gods during it's theater run?

Really good move by Funi.

That's a false equivalence. The Japanese version already exists. It's made first. It's how the movie was originally made, so it doesn't take more time to make it after the movie is complete, because it's part of it.

The English dub will take time to make, though it's likely they're already working on it.

I guess FUNi decided to snatch it up earlier, instead of waiting another year to negotiate w/ FOX, and fighting off fansubbers, to boot. Cool

I think I'll wait for the dub patiently, the Japanese voices for dBz make me laugh so much that I can't take it seriously.

You're not supposed to take it seriously, it's Dragon Ball.

Though I find it odd that anybody would find the voices of Piccolo, Vegeta, or Freeza to be especially funny.

You are the last person who should be criticising people for being whiny.

Oh, you mean like you did when they announced that they are going to show the Dub only with Battle of Gods. The pot calling the kettle black.

I think that for some of penguintruth's complaints of a dubbed show, I might want to do the same of a subbed show.

You literally can't read a few posts above this one when I tear this argument apart as false equivalence?
