If I recall, this has some pretty explicit underage sex scenes in it. Though, seeing as how Vertical published the From the New World manga without any problems, I'm sure they won't have any issues publishing this.

Nice to see Vertical finally dip into the Inio Asano well. I'm looking forward to it!

It's Viz or nobody with that one.

A Girl on the Shore is also much shorter and doesn't wallow in its own navel-gazing black hole of depression.

Really good license for Vertical! Sorta weird reference, but people who enjoy Ai Yazawa's Paradise Kiss should check this out. Definitely picking this one up.

Still hoping that Viz licenses City of Light and Before Dawn and the End of the World. The latter is probably his best manga outside of Nijigahara Holograph. Seeing all of the Inio Asano pick-ups gives me hope that he's selling well/found a niche here in North America.

I enjoy that, but whatever does it have in common with this?

I should clarify that if the romance in Paradise Kiss is one of big reasons you enjoy that book, then you should definitely check out A Girl on the Shore. Both are messy power struggles centered around a dysfunctional relationship that anchors a lot of other specific ideas that Yazawa and Asano like to explore. They're atypical in manga's usual depiction of romance.
