I see potential in this.

The PV already shows a lot of the main characters and that OST is appealing. I wonder how far they will adapt the story though with the amount of material they have. And given the studio, the animation production quality should be solid.

Please God, don't let there be too many yuri undertones, if at all. That's all I ask.

I'm a sucker for music-themed anime. Having said that, I can't wait to watch it. Razz

I normally don't watch music themed anime (they're usually violin or piano anyways) but the band geek in me can't wait for this one.

GET REKT, why would you say this. Yuri is purest form of love and all that. This show BETTER have yuri undertones in it or I will be sorely disappointed. All the damn normies liking hetshit.... *grumbles*

I'm seeing indications on other forums that this will be a PonyCan release in the US, which likely will make it a "singles limited edition" high cost item.

I hate to start out negative when a series hasn't even aired a single episode yet, but PonyCan being the distributor will really ruin it for me.

I don't know about everyone else, but I can't relax and enjoy something knowing that it will make me angry when it comes time to buy. I don't watch Anime to be upset, kind of defeats the purpose.

As far as Yuri undertones are concerned, if you hit someone over the head with it often enough they will get irritated. Looks like infamoustakai may have been walloped too many times.

Looking forward to this one! I like music themed shows and am always a fan of Kyoto Animation's artwork. (Yuri undertones would simply be the icing on the cake... Much more likely to get Class S sub-context than actual yuri, though...)

LESBIAN TUBA STORM

It is like an INVISIBLE STORM, but with a lot more brass.

I'm at least initially holding out some hope for this one. Ishihara has directed several shows that I have enjoyed immensely, but also a few that felt like they didn't live up to their potential.
