even the funimation live show on weds ran the trailer for it and said they were intrigued about it (freaked out when koro sensei's mouth actually did move to talk).. maybe as a possible dub pickup.. but they dont know anything about the movie besides the trailer so in the future it may be something hey pickup for the live action dept...

I'm not sure. For the last few years, a lot of Japanese films are not being picked up for the US market. the last time Funimation picked up a live-action movie was the live-action Space Battleship Yamato. After around 2010/2011, Japanese film are not being picked up in the US (only quite a few). |

I started to laugh when I saw this. Some people who watched the trailer immediately said that Koro-sensei sounded like Nino in the comments.
For me, I seriously thought that one of Koro-sensei's seiyuu from the anime was going to do his voices, and just brushed it off, but I'm pretty content to believe it now. It also made some sense that the live-action team did show up on VS Arashi, one of the shows that he's hosting, and they did A LOT of promoting for that movie on it. (ex. They had Koro-sensei themed stuff for a certain game, which never really happens for any other anime-related movie. And the Rurouni Kenshin live-action cast was on that show a few months back as well, but all they did was promote the movie, and didn't do any RK-'themed' stuff in it.) |
