I like how there are so many ways to interpret Hatsune Miku artistically. She's just that recognizable of a character.

Or maybe Ribon is just cynically trying to expand their audience to older male Vocaloid fans in order to boost sales.

She has no set backstory or canon, so there are no wrong interpretations. She's simply the voice that begat a thousand songs; which you sing is entirely up to you.

Dark Horse already published the Miku Graphic Novel, which was basically a dojinshi-style fan comic about the characters (eg. Ultra-Miku fights Kaiju Mikudayo, yuk yuk)--
It's not in the same league as other writers making manga plots out of Senbonzakura and other songs, although that might not be a bad idea...Kind of like the old 60's BeatlesToon cartoons. Smile

Yet no Hatsune Miku anime, I want that over the crap relating to vocaloid music that we did get.

Manga is almost the same as anime, just without voice acting and you have the effort of turning the pages.
