Manga readers were very unhappy that Bishamon's arc was never animated in the first season, so hopefully this will placate them.

Damn, for them to already release what arcs they're doing makes me wonder just how far in production this is.... I know Minami said 3 adaptations and 1 original guaranteed but I don't think he explicitly said that's all they would release. It's obvious this was green-lit for production after that press conference in August and it's been 8 months since then. Perhaps this may air this year in which case Bones will have 5 anime since they haven't announced their original yet. I'm still betting on 2016 but I'm not so sure anymore.

Bishamon was definitely one of the more interesting characters in the series, so it will be interesting to see her arc.

OHMYGOD, I didn't know Noragami was getting a second season! And here I was thinking that there would only be that one season... but then again, I don't know exactly how popular the manga is over in Japan.

It's sort of a good thing they didn't animate the Bishamon arc in the first season because it would have been so rushed otherwise. There wouldn't have been enough episodes after Yukine's story to do a good job with the next arc. Can we get the Ebisu arc sometime too?? =333 |

As I had thought, it will be nothing but the Bishamon arc (which implies parts of the Sorcerer arc)
Not complaining, just thought they'd include the entire Sorcerer arc. |

I was never expecting Noragami to get a 2nd season. It was one of my favorite shows of the past few years, so I'm very happy about this bit of news.
