I remember an April Fools joke a few weeks ago related but turns out this one is coming to true huh? Not sure how I feel about this though but I guess it could work if they make good connections with the original series.

If it's about Ru's quest for spoiler[Tama], it should probably be pretty great. Because the series ended with an open(ish) ending, and that seems to be the only thing that didn't get completely addressed.

It's only thing that's left to cover in Wixoss since everything else was wrapped up. If it goes this route, the film should be great.

I really enjoyed the Selector series. If this movie is finally closes the book on Ru and Tama uniting and gives it a happy ending then this is going to be a huge success. I will also settle for something that guarantees that another movie will be made lol

Question is, would it be spoiler[Tama, Yuki, or Mayu in that body/bodies?]

You know, I always liked what those two names spell if you put them next to each other and remove the first and last syllables.

This could be really, really cool. Selector was a very underrated (for lack of a better, more direct word) show that really had an edge to it despite it's contrivances.

The fact that this is a movie instead of a show is also excellent. It will be interesting to find out how they will mold the concepts of this show into a theatrical (?) format.

According to Wikipedia this is Dark fantasy, Psychological. Is this true, because it doesn't really look it.

Oh I would love to see that happen. The last season left me hanging. I hope spoiler[Ruuko and Tama reunite in this film.]

YES! Looking forward to this. So I wonder what title they will be using for this movie that can be used as a sexual innuendo again. lol

Let me put it this way: WIXOSS is to card games like Madoka is to magical girls.

It starts off a bit slow (and the main character is really bland), but around halfway through the first season, after building up the world and expectations, it pulls the rug out from under you. From then on it's one unexpected reveal after another, all while getting darker and darker and all the more screwed up.

Personally I ultimately found it darker than Madoka, but that's just me.

The visuals are more cheerful, which is what a lot of people judge the show on, but they need to be that way to balance out the second half of the first season and the entirety of the second.

I don't know. The battle scenes can be colorful but for the most part Wixoss's world looks a lot more grey, cloudy and dirty than Madoka's. And @MarshalBanana like everyone else says yeah, this is definitely dark fantasy/psychological.
I personally prefer Wixoss to Madoka, so this is great news. I did not expect in a million years that this would be getting a movie, so I am definitely hyped.

Personally, I am not surprised it got a movie, part of it is to promote source series and part to promote of course the Card Game it is based upon.

What would surprise me is if somehow there is a sequal (or prequel) series after this upcoming film.
