From what I've heard, I'm guessing episode two won't be breaking those viewing numbers.

Over 1 million "YEEART!"s served.

Coincidentally, I'm sure "Halo of Sorrow From Animation." is what most otaku thought about the first episode.

When people expect another Kill La Kill and get Inferno Cop 2, you can bet many walked away annoyed and/or disappointed.

I will too but i may not survive all 26. It´ a decent 80s/90s parody series but half a year seems just too much and the drop will be severe by the end. Axe Cop is a bit better i guess and Inferno Cop was unwatchable so the director did improve.

The 2016 anime will just be a 13 episode super cut right?

Count me in for one who walked away and will simply stick to the novels and manga.

I find that this is a good streaming number though I wish the show quality and episode lengths were longer.

After seeing the first episode, now every time I hear about this show I become sad. Maybe even shed a few tears.

Well considering that almost 50% of the Niconico users gave it the lowest rating in the viewer polls that might not necessarily be a good thing...

I can still get behind this, and plan on watching episode two. I just hope, as unlikely it may be, that Trigger was just trolling with the first one, and that the rest of the series is less... you know...

You know this whole series is going to be Inferno Cop style zero-budget, right? The problem was how they hyped it up as their next big project, not the Trigger equivalent of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Actually, scratch that, Aqua Teen could be outright hilarious at points.
