great news but Sper Saiyan God Super Saiyan really is a mouthful so I'm going to call it Godly Super Saiyan from now on, it means the same thing anyway
also XenoVerse was supposed to be an adaption on DBO and actualy be canon to the series so how are they going to explain Godly Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 4 in the same story? and before anyone say ''but GT isn't canon'' well toriyama named the show, came up with the initial story and even did the character designs for Goku, Gohan, Goten Vegeta (yes HE gave him that makeover), Trunks, Bulma, Pan, Videl and Gill/Giru, he helped finalise the SSJ4 design and he oversaw the production of the show at least until the end of the Baby Saga (where he wanted to end it apparently), in fact he did more on GT than he did on Battle of Gods so if BoG is canon because he was involved then so is GT |

Ha! Just went to go see the movie in 4D. Was pretty cool. Except, Vegeta spoiler[was only in this form for less than a minute.]

The game was never intended to be a 1:1 adaptation of Dragon Ball Online. Beyond Time Patrol Trunks, Mira and Towa, and the raw concept of their time traveling escapades, there isn't much that's straight-up copied right outta the DBO playbook. They made their own story with those key concepts. Dragon Ball Heroes is taking far more outta DBO as-is than Xenoverse did (things like Time Breaker Bardock), and even then it's still being adapted its its own story and not just a straight-up retelling of DBO. There's no need to be concerned with what's canonical to what. They're just fun stories being told in video games, and they're all going to take whatever elements they want to encourage you to spend more money. |

Their stance is: "If we say it's cool, will you spend money on it?" DBGT has been mined to death in Dragon Ball Heroes to the point that they were actually printing it as an animanga in Saikyo Jump. They're never going to say something dismissive about it, because that would suddenly give fans an "out" to themselves dismiss it. |

but surely Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan is already dismissing it because while Super Saiyan God not being in GT can be easily explained as most of the time there wasn't enough Saiyans together to create one but SSJGSSJ is a modification of the original Super Saiyan form and while you can explain Goku not using it by Gokus small body not being able to handle it (like he said after he tried going SSJ3) what about Vegeta maybe I'm overthinking things after all this is Akira Toriyama and he's not really known for consistency but I like things to fit together |

GT doesn't matter. It's non-canon. Time Patrol Trunk's said it was an alternate time line in Xenoverse, so...
|
