Because in Japan and everywhere, no one is playing games in their consoles anymore. |

My reason is because that I don't want to pay over $60 on a game. Not to mention on a new console to play it on which I cannot afford. This is why I don't go to GameStop anymore. |

So, Konami cancels a highly anticipated game because their breadwinner jumped ship. Did Konami just seriously pull a Capcom?

Poor Del Toro, it seems every game man tries to create getting axed because of the reasons outside of actual game development. Also, the hell is with Konami, Silent Hills was their most hyped SH game in years, yet they cancelled it because someone salty after Kojima left the studio?

From my understanding, it's more like Konami made a decision to focus on where the money is, free to play and cell phone games, and Kojima is only one of a lot of long time talent to leave. It would be nice if they were wrong about the game market, considering my preferences, but the numbers I have seen justify the approach. FTP is a lot more profitable than $60 games. |

That's unfortunate. I was looking forward to various people screaming their heads off while doing their playthroughs for this game. It was funny when they were doing PT.

i was very sad to hear this had been cancelled. because it had sooo much potentual considering that they had norman kojimia and del toro together if it hapened it would have been a beast. im really hoping that they will be something like silent hill if they cant do it under the silent hill banner
|
