Predictable move. Port still needs minor tweaks, but nothing more than 1-2 months of work, although, judging by Dokuro, quality is the last thing Game Arts/GungHo cares about.

Now, if only someone released fully remastered Arcanum...

One of the best RPGs. The first Grandia was very annoying untill the plot kicks in, and the thirds was just... boring. II had a great story, great characters and great battles. All around awesome.

"Gotta work even harder!"

Out of the 50+ Dreamcast games I own (I really went all-in on that console), this is one of the few non-fighters I still regularly play. Truly excellent RPG.

At least GungHo is listening to what the fans want. Now if we could only get a Grandia IV. (I know, too much wishful thinking.)

Damn straight, one of the best you could ever play on the PS2 and in general. It's also a case where the English dub trumps the Japanese voices completely. The actors in the Japanese version, despite all being famous ones, didn't really get into this game's script at all and sounded like they were just reading it out (I've heard them, believe me). It's certainly an improvement for us considering the first Grandia had good voices for the dub, but poor emoting and intoning.

Somehow the article glazed right over the most exciting part from their source:

It's not just a port, it's being remastered! Looking forward to this.
