That... was hard to watch.

I mean, the english openings usually get better with time, but I don't see myself growing to like this one.

Eh, it's just music.

Doesn't strike me as an opening that I'll like. I'll probably skip it to get to the episode hopefully the dub goes well.

I feel that the rock-themed English opening sounded as if it was trying to hard to sound "powerful." Oh, well, maybe it'll grow on myself over time.

Here's hoping the English version of this arc of Yu-Gi-Oh fares well.

while i'm glad their using the japaneese openings and not trying to erase it from US existence like the people controlling pokemon, unfortunately the english OP definitely doesnt give me hope at all that the dub will finally be using the original japaneese scripts instead of these half assed kids version that 4k media is doing. though its not surprising since they were the horror that is 4kids before changing their names. guess just like with the new pokemon series, this series is unfortunately will only be another kids series that will be in the hands of the fansubbers.

The English OP sounds HORRIBLE.

TPCI's dub of the Pokemon XY series is (for the most part) faithful to the Japanese script, minus a few rewrites here and there.

That... was an opening? sounded more like an advertisement song.

Still, this is well timed, I just got off my ass and watched the current episodes of arc-v. its fantastic, I'd dare say its as good as 5D's

Actually, it's Maiami City. It's always spelled as Maiami in the anime. And pretty much everyone from that city is Japanese.

I liked it, if only because Yu-Gi-Oh is back to being dubbed again.

It is. It's supposed to be sing-able by kids (or at least hum-able) that'd remind them of the show.

No matter what, when Japan creates a child/pre-teen anime, America always, always changes the opening and end credits, names of the characters, places they live, edits things heavily, and whack ass, lame ass puns.

I was watching the second half of Digimon Fusion on NickToons and it looked like they kept making the introductions for the characters. I started thinking to myself: "Does America really believe that their children are stupid enough to forgot the names of their favorite characters after one week?"

It just struck me as odd is all.

So let's face it, y'all... They're never gonna dub a kids anime where it stays completely true to the original script.

I am waiting for the dub to premiere. Just air it already! I think they are at a good enough spot dubbing it (they tend to dub the episodes weeks to months in advance of the premiere dates) to have it air already.

If they just made it a Toonami show, then they could get away with less edits. That is, while a Toonami show may be minute compared to its uncut dubbed form (when they do have it), they can be less butchered than 4Kids-level edits.

Nope. Just nope. This looked like something a gradeschooler could compile. Or even me. I could probably slam something like this together. And yes, I am comparing my skills to that of a gradeschooler. That just shows how bad it is.
