Im not a mobile gamer, but since I wasnt able to play X on PC, this will do I guess. This is our KH game for the year. KH3D HD next year.

I'm seriously questioning the whole "distant past" part of the story for this game, older Herc being here would seem to place this game at least after BBS, and then you also have Mickey, Donald, and Goofy around.
Yay for continuity, I guess. |

At least KHIII's development is proceeding. I was about to post that Nomura was wasting time with silly side stories again (technically he is, but at least he's not doing it at the cost of the former's creation).

I swear they said Kingdom Hearts III would be the next Kingdom Hearts game released so this is disappointing.

Always making games no one asked for. Square Enix is a whole other problem in this day and age. KH3 is all we want, make it release it, collect it and make more, Easy right? NOOOOOOO! Make more side shit no one asked for. DANG!
It's unbelievable now a days. I swear they hate money. They literally HATE currency. We will build the Luminous engine for YEARS but easy cash in's? Naw, No thanks. We hate money, No thank you. What Our investors? Pshhhhhhh. Don't even worry about it, we got this. |

I looked into this a little bit myself, the game seems to be based around prophecies and the player character is transported to the fortold worlds from the prophecies or something to that extent.
They hate money, thats why they keep releasing side stories while they are working on KHIII? |

I didn't ask for Birth By Sleep, but it's currently my favorite Kingdom Hearts game. I mean, I doubt this mobile game will really be all THAT great, but at the same time, I'm not against it for what it is. They haven't slowed down the production of KHIII to make it, for instance, so I have very few complaints. The online game is actually kinda fun, albeit more like flash-game fun of the old Cartoon Network days and not full-fledged console/handheld game fun, but I don't mind it much at all. As long as I'm not required to pay to progress. Having that option is okay, but no real paywalls, please. |

The mentality appears to be with Square that "Hey, rather than put ALL of our money and resources into a game that is going to sell millions and make us hundreds of millions, let's take time, money, and resources that we could spend on our HOMG (hundreds of millions game) and give the fans something that, in the greater scheme of things isn't important and that no asked for. Will also have no major impact on the larger storyline. Because we don't want your millions of dollars right now." That is how I perceive their business strategy. And it doesn't make sense to me. |
