I think that when they have these English descriptions of the characters, it can help dubbers get a better understanding of them.

With both Hikasa and Uchiyama in this series, I will be thinking of Infinite Stratos' Houki and Ichika.

Looks good for the casting imo. I still have some doubts in the studio but I do have confidence in the character designs so far.

Oh damn I didn't know this was getting an anime. What an amazingly good piece of news. Must have skipped over the announcement since I only picked the LN up recently. Its pretty good as a mystery trying to figure out how events reach where they do (the author likes to start some volumes with part of a scene from the end of the volume.) and how they end up dealing with the situation. Also most importantly Fremie es numbah 1!

An interesting mix of vocal range.

In those cases, should one go by the Japanese-authored English spelling, 1-to-1 transliterate the names (using macrons), or using one of the other transliteration spellings (ou, oo, oh, uh) to write the names?

Oh nice, some backgrounds on the characters. I like that the main character actually has a legitimate reason for being called something bad, unlike some other works (Cough Common LN Adaptations Cough).
