A lot to unpack here. Before dealing with the actual episodes question about the packaging.

Did anyone else get the first Soundtrack again instead of the Promised/Implied second soundtrack for the second volume.

Going to the elephant in the review, I had a very different take on the sensei episodes, are they generic to a point atleast in terms of topic. However I do think they are executed in a very good and at the very least somewhat unique way.

Now heading on to the girl power featurete that they force her to watch.
First off I think they all do care for and like her and want what is best for her. They go about doing this in a way I think friends will jokingly do sometimes to get a point across. I mean below in the best way possible and felt that the episode was very enduring and made me like sensei a lot more actually (maybe I am weird like that).

What did she suspect would happen if she stayed in the back room of her part time job and lived there for an extended period of time?
The security cameras in question are there to watch the customers yes. But there most common use is to monitor and evaluate the employees. Also her boss/ manager has access to these would know very quickly she is (Almost undoubtedly) doing something she is not allowed to, and probably is supposed to be fired for. Also said manager Loves making videos and movies in his spare time! also this was done after she gotten in her stuff by the deadline.

Everything they ding her on are things she should not be doing as a human being regardless of her being a girl or not.
spoiler[ Cleaning glasses with t shirt is a no no all glasses users no but do anyway. drinking straight from a communial bottle (do I need to explain) using your sleeve as a napkin/tissue (especially one worn for days) Late night eating (yes it is bad for you). Believe that the three second rule actually exist (duh). Being a bad cook (you should learn to cook though there is a bit of a double standard for girls), using a wet wipe or a kitchen sink instead of taking a shower(atleast shower every other day if you can't you have problems that should be dealt with better). Deodorant and febrese is not an alternative to washing OR changing ones clothes. ]

Once again I really like sensei she is one of the best recent characters in my opinion.

...imply to me that Pony Canyon US is failing on the quality control. Really hoping they get it together. I'm really excited for their potential Euphonium release but I'd hate to pay so much for something with QC issues.

Tanteikingdomkey, I assume you got it from RightStuf? Contact their customer service and see if you can exchange just the CD. I had something similar happen with a Lucky Star LE years ago, though I was able to contact Bandai Entertainment directly... they exchanged the CDs for me and sent me a bunch of pencil boards and stuff.

On the topic of Denki-Gai, I finally started watching it again and I'm really liking it. Way more than I thought I would. I can kind of see why PONYCAN wanted to give it a shot here, but it sounds like this release just isn't quite there for the price point.

Definitely contact the seller, Tanteikingomkey - I haven't heard of anyone else with that issue (watch a flood of posts prove me wrong) and my copy did have a second CD. It's not so much a soundtrack as a collection of image songs, though.

I do see what you're saying about the Sensei/Girl's Power scene, and you're right (although spoiler[I'm totally guilty of the glasses cleaning thing when I'm in a bad spot, despite having worn them since I was six. Also, I thought it was her personal bottle of tea, not a communal one.]); it was the way it was presented that was my issue. They're talking about basic human behavior issues, not ones that make someone more or less feminine, so to put them forth in that light was what I took issue with.

rizuchan, the actual subtitles and disc quality are very good, so there aren't any worries on that front. The extras are definitely not enough to merit the price, though.

To be fair I am not sure if it was personal or communal, and a lot of them are stereotypical things guys do, even if they are correctly seen as negative things now a days.

And yes don't worry I have been pestering rightstuf about making sure I get the correct tracks
