I picked this up and watched it solely because of the favorable Shelf Life review. Both of these articles do a great job of expressing everything I love about this series. Perhaps it's not as memorable as some, but it's quite enjoyable nonetheless.

Gingitsune is one of my favorite series from 2013. I was very happy when Sentai announced the license. I also hope that this physical release can allow more fans to watch this charming slice of life anime.

I highly recommend this show. It's definitely different than the usual stuff, especially if you want something with a bit more of a daily life feel. It's relaxing to watch with a nice cup of tea and snacks.

I dropped Gingitsune because it feels like a weak natsumes book of friends and I still have episodes of that left

I do agree to an extent, but when you have long since seen a show that's like another show you like, it's a good way to fill that void.

While I did complete this series back when it aired, I don't think it's a good one. Okay at best.
I loved the first few episodes. They were fun and relaxing, but then they introduced Haru... that one character, for me, ruined the entire show. I don't have a good memory as to why that was the case, but I hated that character a lot.
