I can honestly say that at no point during the four seasons of Teekyu did I think "I'd love to sit through a full length musical of based on this."

Here's hoping the stage adaptation fares well. Teekyū seems to be a fun show that I could watch without a problem.

I only know the anime, which is super fast-paced to fit with the run time, If they went with that, they'd be exhausted after the first performance!

There's no telling what approach they will have to Teekyu, because they can interpret the source material in any way they like.
