Polygon Pictures huh?

It means this will be in a bit of CGI then. The trailer looks fine though and I kinda like the visual. Just hoping this will be faithful to the manga.

I'm fine with Polygon Pictures' CG style. And I think I heard Miyano Mamoru in the last few seconds.

I find the Ajin and Sidonia manga to be barely "decent" and dropped both (twice!) as they have better art than substance but POLYGON PICTURES is top notch in my book and their upcoming Blame! adaptation will the first anime they are responsible for that i will care about and watch in full. Keep that seinen flag high but can we go for better source material next time.
A CG Dorohedoro anime would be nice or a full adaptation of Gantz.

Ajin was nominated for the Readers Award in the 18th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize and in the Seinen category in the 38th Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in 2014 too but it reads like a half cooked Parasyte with an impossible to figure out lead and an unfocused story on top.

Well, the designs look nice, but ugh...I really don't want to see 3D cell shaded anime. But hey, I don't control what they want to do or try to accomplish so I'll give it a shot regardless.

Absolutely thrilled with this. Polygon Pictures are incredible. Granted sometimes their cg is..... shit. But when it comes to action they are the best, Sidonia is pure example of there greatness.

Looks like we will get a really awesome adaptation too. Scripts being done by AoT and Seraph scripter.

Now i'm a billion times more excited

Same. I was looking forward to this, now my interest has lessened.

Do not drop this because of that. I did that with Sidonia, and after catching up im glad i gave it a chance because the action scenes in particular are really really impressive

I love SnK, but I didn't want Ajin to be CG.

Seeing as this is a movie and not a TV show, I would hope that they'd have actually consistent quality instead of being kinda choppy and stiff when there's no big action going on, but this trailer doesn't convince me that this will actually be the case. At least the final bit with Kei looks pretty good.

Man, I wouldn't say the manga is truly great, but this is still a disappointment.

I believe Blame! was only meant to be made as an in-universe TV series in Sidonia. So if you're up to date with the second season, then you already saw the adaptation.

Well, Sidonia doesn't look too bad and Expelled From Paradise has shown that movie quality CG can do a lot, so Polygon with a movie budget... eh, I guess we'll see. Really too bad that it'll be CG though. I guess they decided that high frame rate action trumped over all aesthetic quality.

If this succeeds, R.I.P. 2D
Atleast let Bones do it, show by rock has awesome cg.
