Ah, 3 episodes. This doesn't seem to be surprising but any new Aria anime is something I welcome. Can't wait to see this and get the BDs in the future

I love the manga, but the anime moved soooo sloooow in the beginning, I never bothered to watch past the first three eps. I may go back and watch, as well as watch these new eps.

Happy to see there's three episodes instead of one which what was I expected out of this
 . If there are English subtitles on the BD boxes i'll be importing them for sure.

Have Nozomi announced an English release of the BDs yet? I so want that..

Nozomi hasn't released or announced a BD of anything yet. Hopefully that will change at some point. Not feeling it's likely they will give Aria a re-release on BD, though. |

I honestly hope they include English subs for these sets (I was hoping they might have the Italian dub too, but I guess that's hoping for too much right now) otherwise I'm just buying three Blu Ray sets I really won't touch plus I'd have to look elsewhere to watch the Avvenire episodes.

Wait, I'm confused. How can Tomoko Kawakami be returning as Athena if she's dead? Is this gonna be a deal like with Isamu Tanonaka in the Persona 4 anime where they use pre-recorded lines as her dialogue?

Since Avvenire is going to be about Ai, the new girls, and of course Akari/Aika/Alice, I can't imagine Athena getting much screentime at all anyway. It might be pointless to bring in a new seiyuu for such little dialogue, so pre-recorded lines would make sense.
Or maybe she just sings?

My feelings exactly, maybe if pre-orders are high enough they might consider expanding it from 3 to 12 (as in, an extra box set). |

Given that it takes place after Origination, it looks like it's best to treat it as an epilogue. |
