I'm going guess the surprise is the MN9 show that was teasesd a while back.

The surprise is that they're not closing down! I love me some wacky Studio 4C, but how exactly do they continue despite nearly every work of theirs being a money pit? Even Berserk.

As regards to Keiji Inafune, I have no idea what he's up to with Mighty No. 9 anymore. Last year's panel had him reveal there would be a TV show. Maybe we'll get to see the pilot.

Oh boy, that's going to be a packed panel. Now what's the odds that someone might try to ask Inafune for a spiritual successor to MML. But we'll see.

After Mighty No. 9 this year, he's working on a new IP franchise, so it might be awhile:
