So if Viz has got the manga/anime (which I gather means it's another fight-serial), will we see the anime in the US, or is there some rights restriction?

The anime will come to the US eventually (hopefully either Fall or Winter 2015) since Dentsu has been negotiating with American networks (I don't know which networks since it hasn't been revealed) to air it. By the way, here's a trailer that shows Hasbro introducing the franchise and has snippets of the English dub: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Asjrseaqag

This will be pretty interesting to look from a distance and see how well it sells. Not sure if I want to get this game though. I'm still on the fence over this.

Anybody know the English cast?

I've got to say, I'm super-impressed with the translated names, and so far the casting seems spot-on. Beautiful localization effort so far!

I went to OMG Con over the weekend and spoke with Melissa Hutchison after getting my Saikano art box signed. After asking if Chise was her only anime role she said that she will be voicing a character in the Youkai Watch anime. Not sure if that was already known but it was the first time I had heard about the anime getting licensed/dubbed.

Interesting. Sounds like she could have broken an NDA with that though.

The presser was for games aimed at 1st Quarter 2016 at latest, so expect it around March

All I know is that Johnny Young Bosch will be voicing Keita Amano (aka Nathan Adams), while Alicyn Packard will be voicing Jibanyan.
