Yeah, but I think it's just an illusion from the angle and/or they purposefully made Hinata's actor bigger than he will be IRL for the aesthetic (of having Hinata be the largest figure and the one your eye immediately goes to).

I do doubt, though, that the height difference between Hinata (and Nishinoya) and his teammates will be as drastic as in the manga.

I really wonder how this one in particular will go. Like, will they play an actual volleyball match on stage? How's that gonna' work?

Haven't you seen Prince of Tennis Musical yet? This will most likely have a similar setup and use the same 'ball trick' as they did with Tenimyu.
